Risen Installs the New Version for iOS: What's New and Improved?

In a recent update, Risen has rolled out its latest version for iOS devices, bringing with it a host of exciting features and improvements that users have been eagerly anticipating. Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Texas, Louisiana, South Carolina, Washington, Florida, and Puerto Rico are among the areas that have received updated elevation data, allowing users to access more accurate and detailed information about their surroundings. This enhanced data also enables the creation of more realistic photo simulations, with images now available for 7-10ft inundation levels.

In addition to these updates, the new version also features improved high tide flooding historical yearly inundation events charts, which can be accessed dynamically and display data up to 2019. Users can now zoom in one level deeper when exploring Sea Level Rise scenarios and High Tide Flooding maps, providing a more detailed view of their surroundings.

Furthermore, New Jersey, Alabama, Northern Mariana Islands, and Georgia have all had new elevation data installed, while the Virgin Islands have been remapped with updated information. The 2022 Sea Level Rise Technical Report has also been incorporated into the Local Scenarios tab, offering users access to new sea level rise scenarios.

To top it all off, Risen has released new DEMs (Digital Elevation Models) for several areas, including Florida's Panhandle and Georgia. These high-resolution models provide an even more detailed view of the landscape, allowing users to gain a better understanding of their surroundings.
